Overview

For his debut solo album *Magic Man*, Jackson Wang sought to shed the persona he had maintained as part of GOT7 and explore a rawer, more volatile identity. The project marked a turning point in his career—a chance to confront the darker, more vulnerable parts of himself and present them without restraint. We partnered with Jackson to develop a visual universe that reflected this transformation. The creative direction centered around a surreal and fragmented world—where textures warped, time fractured, and reality bent under pressure. Jackson moves through these landscapes as both subject and symbol, always shifting, never static. Each visual moment in *Magic Man* channels an elemental force and an emotional state—agitation, surrender, grounding. The color palette was designed to echo these sensations. From photographic treatments to set design and lighting, every component worked in service of this vision: an unfiltered expression of a man reckoning with himself in public. The result is a visual language that is at once cinematic and fractured—mirroring the internal dissonance that gave rise to *Magic Man*.
