THE NORTH FACE CLIMB FESTIVAL VISUAL IDENTITY
Concept
The North Face Climb Festival brings together climbing and culture in select cities across the globe. We worked with the team at the The North Face to concept and create a visual identity for the festival that could live as comfortably on city streets as it could on climbing walls. The identity consists of a playful wordmark, leveraging a custom logotype inspired by climbing tape, a grainy color palette that serves as an analog for the dizzying euphoria of summiting a Psicobloc climbing wall, and PangramPangram’s versatile Editorial New typeface. The North Face Climb Festival’s first stop was on Navy Pier in Chicago, with London, Paris and New York slated for 2024 and beyond.
