The XI

Overview

The Bjarke Ingels designed XI West Chelsea has changed the New York skyline forever — two twisting towers in West Chelsea made of travertine and bronze, outfitted with interiors by Gilles & Boissier and Gabellini Sheppard and a hotel by Six Senses. We worked with Baron & Baron on the identity and print collateral for The XI and expe­ri­en­tial design of The XI Visionaries Gallery, which featured three reflective works by inter­na­tion­al artist Es Devlin. Using the building materials as inspiration, we utilized bronze foil stamping and blind embossing throughout the collateral, striving to create pieces that would not only sell properties, but be immor­tal­ized as beautiful narrative objects, dictating the story of how a group of icons came together in an unprece­dent­ed way to carry out a singular vision.
