An unboxing experience focused on discovery and delight, completing the Converse Closet experience.

Overview

As part of our Converse Closet Digital Pop Up, we concepted and produced an unboxing experience for media recipients that completed their user journey. The multi-layer packaging was designed in a vertical form factor, to evoke the vintage Converse ads that served as inspiration for the website and invite. The exterior box featured spot-UV black on black printing for a sleek, elevated look, and the inner box continued the typographic approach for a sense of discovery and delight. The box opens to reveal a color story for the Shai Weapons, a handwritten card and vintage garments of the recipients selection behind a thoughtfully constructed panel. Working closely with the Converse team on multiple touchpoints of this project enabled us to create a consistent narrative throughout, making sure that each recipient felt the right emotions at the right time.
