We worked with Studio Institute on John Elliott’s FW16, SS17 and FW18 shows.
FW 16 “Over The Line” show took a refined and elevated approach to the Berlin nightlife aesthetic. Inspired primarily by the raw aesthetic of world-renowned, disorienting techno dungeons that pepper the city’s nocturnal landscape, the set featured pulsing horizontal lights, mirrored cubes and towering speaker systems.

SS17 “Watching Water” saw the use of a live Boiler Room set, as mirrors and water bounced light all across the venue. Instead of a traditional runway, models marched alongside a custom made reflection pool to the curated beats of producer of Lee Bannon. This show was named one of the Top 10 shows of the SS17 season.
AAU youth basketball inspired John Elliott’s FW18 collection, and we worked with Institute to create an elevated athletic experience, complete with a drum line performance by Vernor Township HIgh School. The band members were outfitted in full John Elliott gear and played against the backdrop of stadium lights, fog and a court-inspired runway which featured lines that grew more erratic as they stemmed outward towards the crowd.
